I am writing to share my support for my friend and neighbor Drew Magliozzi as a candidate for School Committee. I was lucky to meet Drew and his family nearly five years ago on a summer day at White Pond. We were both new to Concord, excited to build lives here, and quickly realized we both had children headed to Willard Elementary School. Since then, our bond has grown; I’ve come to know Drew not only as a good friend, but as a person truly committed to serving others.

From a professional standpoint, I admire Drew’s dedication to education through leading the startup Mainstay, which uses technology to bridge gaps in higher education outcomes. Through his vision and leadership, tens of thousands of students have gained college degrees, a testament to Drew’s dedication to the greater good.

I have also witnessed Drew’s ongoing engagement with our schools as a parent and a community member, whether through observing School Committee meetings or supporting dialogues with other committee members. Drew clearly cares that our schools are not only centers of academic excellence, but also safe, inclusive spaces. He’s putting his values into action by running for School Committee.

Over the years, Drew and I have become close friends, connecting through conversations about life, family, career, and purpose. Drew is authentically reflective but also highly practical — willing to consider new perspectives while committed to tangible progress. Drew’s character, integrity, and genuine care for others comes through in everything he does.

Considering his professional qualifications and personal character, I wholeheartedly recommend Drew for School Committee. I hope you will get to know Drew as his campaign progresses and support his campaign.
